The Red Scarf Project

Will you join me for another opportunity in the The holiday season is approaching quickly....This is a time to celebrate family. Life. Our individual/unique talents & gifts contributing to the decisions we make each day about who we are. The once much celebrated and rejoiced winter solstice is almost lost among the hustle and bustle of decorations and last-minute shoppers to come.
in my busy little town of hallmark holidays and guilt-intended commercialism forced onto the consumer trying to buy a carton of milk at the corner store, the distraction from what really matters is all around and near impossible to escape. These next few months are a time to reflect, rest after a busy summer as the days get shorter, indulge within new and old friendships, and perhaps find something within us we would like to give to others not living such fortunate lives.

I'm knitting red scarves for the Red Scarf Project.

I begin tomorrow, Saturday October 28, 2006- and will be working on this project until January.

Want to join me? make our own little KAL? I'd love the company :-) I would be thrilled to introduce just one more person to this project... excited to have a knitting friend (s?), and eccstatic to know others are joining me to make a little difference by knitting with our/their hearts
